Global Vision Initiative (GVI)
Charitable Activities of LR International
The Global Vision Initiative (GVI) is the charitable activities of LR INTERNATIONAL, INC., a global logistics company headquartered in Chicago founded in 1988 by Ric and Linda Frantz. Along with longtime partners, Paul and Tracey Jarzombek LRI have provided assistance to non for profit organizations with pro bono consulting, and global shipping on a cost recovery basis. In addition LRI participates in a local annual academic scholarship program called The Global Vision Scholarship which selects and assists a graduating senior looking to pursue a career in an international vocation.
Shipping playgrounds to remote and underdeveloped areas of the world, along with food and medical supplies to regions devastated by natural disasters or torn apart by war, LRI is dedicated to helping make our world a better place to live. In addition LRI have made contributions to world organizations including UNICEF, THE AMERICAN RED CROSS, SPECIAL OLYMPICS and SAVE-A-PET.
LRI was recently featured in a CNN International documentary highlighting our involvement in assisting women in Mozambique Africa to escape from a life in human sex trafficking there. Working with FREE THE GIRLS, a non for profit organization centered in Denver, Colorado and Maputo Mozambique, LRI offered shipping services of products used to help raise funds for the organization.
