01 Dec Ursula M. Wegrzynowicz Joins LR INTERNATIONAL as Business Development Manager
LR INTERNATIONAL INC., a full service global logistics provider, is pleased to announce the addition to their staff of Mrs. Ursula M. Wegrzynowicz as their new Business Development Manager. Starting on August 29, 2016. Ursula’s responsibilities will include introducing exporters and importers to the shipping, consulting, crating, warehousing, documentation and cargo insurance services that LRI offers.
Mrs. Wegrzynowicz’s career in international trade spans two decades. Ursula began her career at the Export-Import Bank of the U.S. marketing the bank’s trade finance services. She broadened her international trade experience working with importers and exporters while employed in the international departments of JP Morgan Chase and Wells Fargo. Most recently she was as a Principal at Trade Acceptance Group (TAG), a specialty trade finance brokerage, where she was instrumental in the company being recognized as Ex-Im Bank’s Broker of the Year two times. During Ursula’s tenure TAG also received the President’s “E” Award for Excellence in Export Services in 2015.
Ursula currently holds an appointment from the U.S. Secretary of Commerce to serve on the Illinois District Export Council and also serves on the grant committee of Metro Chicago Exports. She is a member of the Illinois Advisory Board to the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition and a member of various international trade organizations around the Midwest. Ursula is an active speaker for trade organizations and universities on the topics of export trade credit insurance and international trade finance. Ursula received her B.A. in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago in 1995 and her M.A. in International Affairs from American University in 1997.
