Illinois has moved to a “Shelter in Place” order as of Midnight March 21, 2020. This means stay at home except for essential businesses and essential tasks/errands.
LR INTERNATIONAL as part of the Freight Forwading and Customs Broker Industry is considered essential to Trade. LRI also warehouses relief goods for the American Red Cross and must be open to facilitate the shipping of relief goods in natural disaster situations.
We will be open for business at our Chicago HQ facility as well as our 14 North American warehouses. 90% of our staff will work from home, but we will have 10% of our staff in our office and warehouses.
We will be able to receive and ship domestic and International cargo as usual subject to modified airline and steamship line schedules due to the CoronaVirus Pandemic.
