03 Dec LRI Awards the 2018 Global Vision Scholarship to Emily Deboer!
On May 8 Paul and Tracey Jarzombek represented LRI at an awards ceremony to give the Global Vision Scholarship to Timothy Christian School senior Emily Deboer. The Global Vision Scholarship is an annual award that LRI gives to a graduating High School Senior who has a vision to impact the world in their future vocation. Past applicants have been students who hoped to become doctors, nurses, dentists, teachers, missionaries, lawyers and social workers. Emily plans to study at North Park College to become an Occupational Therapist and minor in Spanish. She hopes to one day serve the less fortunate in Latin America providing Occupational Therapy to those in need who can’t afford it. Congratulations Emily!!!!!!!
